Overview
Make Space for Calm.
Mello needed to feel soft without disappearing and polished without feeling precious. The goal was to build a brand that could hold attention quietly and still feel memorable.
Quiet, not forgettable.
The visual system leaned into restraint, but every detail still needed a point of view. Color, typography, material choices, and spacing worked together to create something calm without flattening the personality out of it.
Made to be held.
Material and finish choices became part of the brand language. Soft-touch surfaces, subtle contrast, and tactile details helped the packaging feel warmer and more human without adding unnecessary decoration.

Approach
Soften the Edges.
The system focused on a limited palette, strong type hierarchy, and a small set of repeatable visual cues. Keeping the ingredients tight made the identity easier to recognize and gave the packaging room to breathe.
Build with restraint.

Impact
41% STRONGER SHELF RECALL.
The final system gave Mello a more distinctive presence while keeping the brand calm, flexible, and easy to extend across future products and packaging formats.
More presence. Less noise.
The identity was designed to flex across sizes, formats, and future product launches without losing the core Mello feel.
Built to stretch.

Calm can still carry.
The project reinforced that restraint can create just as much personality when the details are doing enough of the work.
